Food, Cash Donation Sought
It is carnival time in Amissville and the food stand needs your help. Carnival dates are June 22-25. We are asking for donations for the box dinners to be sold Thursday, parade night. This includes chicken fried and/or uncooked, potato salad and deviled eggs. Cakes, pies or brownies are also needed for the boxes and for all other nights. Cash donations will be needed for rolls, utensils, etc. t
The services of Amissville Fire and Resuce units are extemely important to the community. During the month of May these units responded to 49 calls, an average of more than one a day.

Women's Convention Set
The Baptist General Convention Division of Women will be held on June 30 in Norfolk. A bus will be leaving from South Gate parking lot in Culpeper at 5 a.m. on June 30 and returning about 9 p.m. that evening. For more information call 987-8739, 825-4641, 948-4575 or 854-4426.
Christmas Tree Buyers Guide
The Rappahannock County Extension Office is in the process of preparing a Christmas Tree Buyers Guide for the fall of 1994. This will be similar to the “Orchard Guide” listing orchards in the county. This information is often requested by consumers, local bed and breakfasts, and shops.
Christmas tree growers in Rappahannock County who wish to be included should contact Skip Robinson, Extension Master Gardener at 675-3619.
Amissville Carnival Planned
Amissville Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad will sponsor their annual carnival through June 25. Parade Thursday evening; crowning of queen and court Friday and cash prize drawings Saturday evening.
Class Reunion Planned
