I have caught a new fish on a Front Royal golf course and I thought your readers would like to know about it and some tips on catching their own.
It is commonly called a Pakyfish scientific name Peter Alexander Kramer.
First test the waters for about two holes, then slowly cast the bait and troll for about five holes. As you troll, a slice and a couple of hooks into the weeds helps to arouse the Pakyfish’s interest. As the fish takes the bait let him run with it for two holes, then while approaching the 10th tee, gently set the hook. Start reeling in immediately with a drive straight down the middle to confuse the Pakyfish.
He will 8tart floundering right away, so don’t give him much slack as you play him. By the 13th hole his mouth should be gaping open with the hook hanging out the side, and most of the fight gone. The 14th hole is the ideal place to gaff your Pakyfish, let him twitch and stagger, then by the 15th hole you can relax and enjoy your catch the remainder of the round.
