Young Chris Dennis read a poem he had written for the occasion. Mr. Roszak then presented the class. They should be graduating from high school in 1999, “the last class of the century,” he said. Class members then gave Mr. Roszak, as class sponsor, a certificate for dinner for two at the Bleu Rock Inn.
This was followed by a parade of graduates who received diplomas from Mr. Smith and Mrs. Tupper as they left the stage.
