Sally Havstad and Lilo Wolfe accompanied the Scouts which included daughters of the leaders Dawn Havstad, Kylene Wolf, Holly Gangle and Fran Overdorf.
The visit was arranged by Sherry Pace and many thanks go to her after recovery time at the hospital the group enjoyed a real royal treatment at Napoleans Restaurant in Warrenton.
Scouting in Rappahannock came to a pleasant end recently when area Girl Scouts of the Virginia Skyline Girl Scout Council concluded activities with their annual Bridging and Court of Awards ceremony at the Rappahannock Park. After the ceremony the girls were invited to campover at John and Nina Norman’s home next door. On Saturday the Scouts held a Sport and Fitness Day. The biggest hit of the day was playing in the river behind the Norman’s house.
