About seventy-four friends, neighbors, and families gathered on the grounds of Thornton Gap Regular Baptist for the 28th annual hollow reunion. Many memories and conversation wafted on the cool breezes of this perfect Autumn afternoon.
Much sharing of family information and photos added to the hallowness of the occasion, giving all a sense of purpose of such events. Coming as far away as Lancaster, Pa. and as near as the hollow itself, all coming together agairi to renew their common bond...Old Hollow.
It’s history and it’s families have influenced the annual of time certainly from the beginning of the birth of Rappahannock County. What a joy to see reunions of families, but what a wonder when practically a whole community reunites.
