To the Editor:

Thank goodness, a little press never hurt anybody. It is a testament to our business that a customer felt compelled to make known his criticisms of the Appetite Repair Shop in the Rappahannock News.

Without getting personal, we must confess that the switch-over time between breakfast and lunch is, in fact, a tricky time.

We are not McDonalds. The McDonalds franchise has a nationwide standard of cutting off breakfast at 10:30 a.m. to give its staff time to prep for lunch. They get a half hour. We don’t. Nor do we have a tripletiered prep station or a 20 x 4-foot grill to cook on! We have to do a lot with a small number of people and a small amount of space.
