PUBLIC HEARING: PUBLIC ROAD NAMES On Monday, October 2, 1994. at 7:00 PM at the Courthouse in Washington, VA, the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors shall hold a public hearing to consider any proposed final changes to the currently adopted names for public roads in Rappahannock County. t Any persons dissatisfied with the name of a public road may petition the Board of Supervisors to change the road name at the hearing specified above in the following manner: No later than Thursday, September 30, present to the County Administration Office a petition signed by a minimum of seventy-five per cent (75%) of the persons owning property and/or residing on the designated road. The petition shall attest to the signers’ dissatisfaction with the currently adopted road name, and shall include one, and one ohly, proposed name for the designated road. Petitions as set forth above may be presented to the County Administration Office, O d Extension Office, Gay Street, Washington, VA, during normal business hours (8:30 - 4:30 Monday - Friday), or mailed so as to be received no later than the date specified, at PO Box 519, Washington, VA 22747.
