Yes, sometimes there may be disappointment awaiting the “five minutes to lunch” breakfast crowd. The same goes for the “five minutes to closing” dinner crowd. We just can’t guarantee breakfast or dinner at these times, as much as we’d like to.
We must also mention that we don’t serve items that aren’t listed on our menu. If it’s not our menu, we don’t serve it. It’s that simple. (If someone has an idea for a party at A.R.S. with special foods, we are not adverse to planning in advance with our customers and working our prices and so forth. But we like to know beforehand.)
We can’t close this letter properly without adding this: Courtesy is a two-way street.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason. We at A.R.S. feel that it’s this rule that is being criticized, and not our service.
We hope our regular customers aren’t turned off by all this muckrak
