James Jenkins
James Edward Jenkins, 79, of Strasburg, died Saturday, Sept. 3 at the Warren Memorial Hospital in - Front Royal.
Graveside services were conducted Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Ivy Hill Cemetery in Upperville by the Rev. Kathleen Monge.
Mr. Jenkins was bom July 15, 1915, in Rappahannock County, son of the late Charles and Daisy Frazier Jenkins.
He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Pauline Jackson Hinson Jenkins; a son, Roger Edward Jenkins of Strasburg; a daughter, Ann Shirley Gibson of Jacksonville, Fla.; a half sister, Mary Elizabeth Kelly of Newark, Del. and four grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by the Stover Funeral Home in Strasburg.
Ellis Smith
Ellis Gibson Smith, 71, of Amissville died oti Thursday, Sept. 8 at his residence.
He was born in Rappahannock County on Feb.’1, 1923, a son of the late Russell 0. and Minnie Settle Smith. He was predeceased by his wife, Myrtle Le$ Smith. 1 Mr. Smith was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include a son, Ellis H. Smith of Warrenton; three daughters, Barbara Lee Coffey, Peggy Ann Stringfellow and, Janice S. Cooke, all of Amissville; one sister, Ann Laima Printz' of Amissville; seven grandchildren aqd three great-grandchildren.
He was also predeceased by a brother, Frank Lewis Smith.
