The Rappahannock County Sanitary Landfill Located In Rappahannock County
Pursuant to the requirements of Part VII of the Virginia Solid Waste Management Regulations (SWMR), Permitting of Solid Waste Management Facilities, the Department of Environmental Quality will hold a public hearing on the proposed draft permit amendment for the Rappahannock County Sanitary Landfill located in Rappahannock County at the termination of State Route 639, approximately 0.5 mile north of the intersection with U.S. Route 211 and about 10.7 miles wgst of the Town of Warrenton. The permit amendment was drafted by the Department of Environmental Quality for Rappahannock County in accordance with Part VO of the SWMR. The hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, January 4, 1995 at 2:00 p.m. in the Court Room of the Rappahannock Courthouse on Clay Street, Washington, Virginia, 22747. The purpose of the public hearing will be to solicit comments concerning the technical merits of the draft permit amendment. The public comment period will extend until 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 1995.
