Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Washington, died Wednesday, Nov. 23.
He was born July 12, 1944, in Tokomah Park, Md., a son of Kathleen Ricketts of Las Vegas, Nevada and Howard Hunter of Ashville, N.C. and the step son of the late Charles W. Ricketts Sr.
In addition to his parents, survivors include one daughter, Penny Critzer and four grandchildren, Jennifer, Andy, Samantha and Brandon, all of Manassas.
Also surviving are three sisters, Dale Burke of Sperryville, Cindy Shaw of Las Vegas, Nevada and Kathy Patterson of San Antonio, Texas and three brothers, Doug Ricketts of Flint Hill, Eddie Ricketts of Washington and Chuck Ricketts of Manassas.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Washington Masonic Cemetery with Rev. John Burke officiating.
Susie Woodard
Mrs. Susie Brown Woodard, 81, of Amissville, widow of Clyde Haywood Woodard, died on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Gustavius and Ella Nora Wharton Newcomer.
She was a member of Massanova Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by three sons, the Rev. Clyde R. Woodard and Milton E. Woodard, both of Amissville and Samuel D. Woodard of Nokesville; a daughter, Ella Mae Pullen of Rixeyville; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-granchildren.
