Mrs. Mabel Lillard was honored with a birthday party at the fire hall on Sunday to celebrate her 80th birthday with family and friends.
The Flint Hill United Methoidst Church met recently with Thelma Crane. The Thanksgiving program was held by the hostess.
Others present were Alice Pullen, Athena Bywaters, Libby Wharton, Mabel Lillard, Candy Lamma, Marty Curtis, Louise McCulloch, Barbara Gentry, Artis East and Mary Frances Bywaters.
Holiday guests of Mrs. Linnie Cummings and Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Klise were Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ropker and daughter, Meghan of Spokane, Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Park and sons, Jermery and Jason of Portsmouth, Jeannine Buchman and daughter, Allison of Ridgefield, Conn, and Mrs. Johanna Pauwell of Belgium.
Rick Ridenour and Florence Mouchague of Montreal, Canada spend a couple days over the holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McCulloch.
They had Thanksgiving dinner with his grandmotehr, Mrs. Alice Brady. Also visiting Mrs. Brady during the day were Louise and Mac McCulloch, Irene Hamilton, Robert Brady, E.J. and Beverly Pullen and family, Jack Hamilton, Jr., Cathy Cieslak and Thelma Crane.
Dinner guests on Thanksgiving of Mrs. Christine Vest were Johnny Vest, Meredith and Leslie, Michael and Janet Vest, Curtis Vest and Phil Wheatly, all of Virginia Beach. Also visiting were Dee Vest, Karen William and Rodney Vest.
They also visited Mrs. Pearl Dodson at Sperryville during their visit here.
Ken and Cathy Cieslak and family spent the Thanksgiving holiday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Crane.
Leslie and Meredith Vest of Virginia Beach spent the holiday with Nikki Calisto and her parents, David and Renee.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson had Thanksgiving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hickerson at Chester Gap.
