Christmas Dinner At CGVFD

Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department will have their annual Christmas dinner at 5 p.m. on Dec. 3. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish.

Meeting, Party Set

The Blue Ridge Head Injury Support Group will meet from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 at Terry’s house in Chester Gap. This is the annual Christmas meeting and party. All survivors, family members, friends and any persons interested in learning more about the head injuried or helping with the group are invited to attend. Photo Exhibit Scheduled

Starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17 there will be the openning of a photo exhibit of Madison County at The Mountain Store in Criglersville in the second floor gallery. The photos are a collection of 30 black and white photos taken by Dr. McCoy. This will be the first time his work has been exhibited for the public. Refreshments will be served, come and enjoy a wonderful collection of views of Madison County.

Spring Mtn. Christmas Bazaar

The Spring Mountain School Christmas Bazaar will be held from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4 in Washington. Activities include the lighting of the Advent Garden, storytelling and children’s craftmaking room. Wonderful handmade Christmas gifts, as well as gift-giving children’s books, books on parenting, gifts from Hearthsong, toys, 100 percent cotton children’s clothing and Culinary delights. Benefit Bake Sale

Christmas Bazaar at CCLC

The Child Care and Learning Center will have their ninth annual Christmas Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3. There will be a children’s shopping room, crafter’s room, bake goods and pictures with Santa. Lunch will also be for sale as well a silent auction, cake walk and a quilt raffle.
