Katzen To Visit

Del. Jay Katzen, R-31st District, will be in the Rappahannock County Library meeting room from 10 a.m. until 12 noon on Wednesday, Jan. 4, to meet with any constituents who would like to meet with him to address their concerns.

Crisis Assistance

Rappahannock Department of Social Services will operate the crisis assistance program this year to help alleviate heating emergencies. The program runs from Nov. 1, 1994 to March 15, 1995.

State changes in this program allow for possible repair or replacement of a heating source when there is no heat in the home and other resources are not available to help with repairs.

The crisis program w ill not pay for fuel.

ASCS Office To Close

The Washington ASCS Office was on the list of local USD A officer to be closed announced last wreek. The office will be moved to Culpeper, but timing of the move and personnel changes are not yet set.
