In memory of Josephine M. Jenkins

Who departed this world on December 6,1991 Another Christmas is upon us But yet it is somehow not Christmas As u>e look around the room You can see it in our faces We all try to be strong But there are two faces for which we now long And it brings sadness to our heart Thinking how it used to be Life has not been the same since you left us Nor will it ever be Father time does not heal the wounds He only eases the pain But the pain can never go away We still feel it each day That stubborn emptiness is still in our hearts We guess it will always be /Is long as we are apart Mother, toe will never forget the times with you For us, you were always here • We just wish God would have spared you For a few more years If love alone could have saved you You wouldn 't have died You were always caring about us more than yourself That was evident till the end But Mother, we will go on as best we can Although nothing seems to mean as much As it would have without your thoughtful touch Still, we will continue down life's journey And face each challange as though you were here Because we know deep in our heart You are with us each day. Very much missed by family and friends
