RCHS Concert
Rappahannock County High School will present their annual Winter concert at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19 at R.C.H.S. auditiorium. The choir will perform a variety of selections ranging from the upbeat Elijah Rock to a variation on Silent Night. The bank will present two contrasting selections by the reknowned composer John Williams; Raiders March (from Raiders of the Lost Ark) and Schindler’s List. You will also enjoy the overtune Majestia by famous band composer James Swearingen. The evening will conclude with a traditional singalong and reception. Due to construction, the RCES concert has been postponed to Jan. 19.
Vaulting Clinic Set
Mountain Spring Stable second annual vaulting clinic (gymnastics on horseback) will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18. For more information call Heather Marsh, 987-9545.
Studio Shop Open House
Davette’s Studio Show Open House will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17.
Weaving demonstrations and Christmas shopping will feature Handweaving and Art work by Davette Leonard Kvames, stained glass by Patti Mullan, jewelry by Kim McLaughlin and Eric Kvames’ annual Handblown glass Christmas sale. Breakfast at WVFD
The Washington Volunteer Fire Department will have a breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17. Santa will appear and wagon rides will be conducted. Breakfast will consist of sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy, eggs, pancakes, hash browns, fried apples, milk, coffee, tea, juice and hot chocolate.

Spring Mountain Open House
Spring Mountain School in Washington will be holding an Open House from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15. Interested parents are invited to visit any of the classrooms - Nursery, Kindergarten, First/Second Grade, Third/Fourth Grade - to observe a typical day in the life of Waldorf education.
