Stonewall-Hawthom District representative Sharon Pierce said there is a large population that will never come to a big meeting but might attend smaller meetings in the individual districts.
Wakefield District representative Werner Krebser made the suggestion that was eventually adopted to concentrate on one issue at a time. “I’m not in favor of hiring an expert,” he said. He said more people in total would get involved around single issues. He suggested the topics of land use taxation, the village concept and “merchants.”
