This was among the many songs Lorraine Duisit Espinola sang when she performed at the library last. Wednesday evening.
Mrs. Duisit sang a number of traditional ballads along with others which she wrote for her children.
These included a song for her son, Evan, about what is seen while riding on the road and another for her daughter, Nicole, about swinging.
She used a wide assortment of instruments during the program. Included in these were the audio harp, which “pretty much plays itself’ she said, and a mandolin, an instrument with a deep pear-shaped body.
The first of the many songs was a traditional childhood number, “A Hunting We Will Go.” Other animals such as a frog, dinosaur, and mosquito were also added to the list of things that were caught.
