Here are some simple projects which might be undertaken with an eye toward selling your home:
Paint or refinish the front door and place a potted flowering plant against or near it. Wire brush wrought iron railings. Prime and finish in rustoleum. This is part of that all-important first impression.
Repair any leaking faucets or any that are hard to cut off. Check for smooth functioning of all toilets.
Check all window and porch screens to make sure all are sound. Replace any cracked glass. The hinges of any pull-down attic steps should be oiled so they don't make an embarrassing noise.
Pour sealer into any driveway cracks. Fill and sod places where cars have worn away grass beside street or driveway. Top dress any gravel drive, or turn about with fresh stone.
Check to see if any vinyl flooring should be replaced. Selective floor finishing might be a good idea, especially in hightraffic areas.
