The Black Oak Regular Baptist Church, located on Route 729 is planning their Christmas program for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 22. There will be poems, singing and a play entitled, Because of God’s Love.”

Amissville Baptist will have its Cantata during the 11 a.m. worships service, Sunday, Dec. 17. The children play will be held Sunday evening at 6 p.m., Dec. 17, followed by a reception in the fellowship hall. Christmas Eve service will be held at 6 p.m. on Dec. 24.

“The Night Before,” will be presented at the Fellowship Assembly of God at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16.

The play was written by Gary McDowell, a Southern Gospel artist from Gulfport Mississippi.

First Baptist

The First Baptist Church will have their Christmas Play at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17. Morning services will be conducted by Rev. Doctor Wendell Grant. A covered dish lunch will follow the morning services. Everyone is invited to come.
