A letter was introduced into evidence by Ms. Lundregan’s attorney supposedly from.a person in a sheriff’s office in Washington County saying that Mr. Mullins did in fact call her on the morning in question. However, the letter was not written on any kind of letterhead nor did it give any indication where the Sheriff's Office was located.
Ms. Lundregan admitted that she had not turned herself in when she heard there was a capias out for her because she was afraid, and was rehabilitating herself since the concussion.
