Colonial Christmas
It was perfectly obvious to anyone in Rappahannock County by 10:30 Saturday morning that the weather was as good as anyone hac a right to expect on the second Saturday in December.
However, the decision not to go ahead with Colonial Christmas was made shortly after 7 a.m. Parts of the county were still experiencing snow, and Washington weather forecasters were warning dire ly of dropping temperatures that could have led to ice covered streets
It was an unfortunate decision, but those who did not have to make it should probably not engage too enthusiastically in second guessing it.
