A 17 year-old juvenile from Washington was driving a 1987 Ford Bronco when the driver lost control and ran off the right side of Route 627 and overturned. The Bronco sustained $3,000 damage and the driver was not injured.

In another accident last Saturday morning, Deborah Lee Cowan Settle, 36, of Washington, lost control of her 1986 Plymouth on Route 628, 1.3 miles west of U.S. 522, which was icy, and collided head-on with a 1991 Ford pickup driven by William Edward Foster, Jr., 66, of Flint Hill. No injuries were reported, but both vehicles sustained $500 damage. Ms. Settle was charged with reckless driving.
