He was a self-employed carpenter.
He is survived by one son, Gary Lynn Jenkins of Nashville. Tenn.; three sisters, Kathleen Lee of Flint Hill. Ivy Racer of Washington, and Linda Dwyer of Sperryville; three brothers, David Jenkins of Luray, Wayne Jenkins and Troy Jenkins, both of Sperryville. Additional survivors include two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers. Nelson and Jimmie Jenkins and a sister. Edna Burke.
Funeral services was held on Wednesday, Dec. 13 at Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. John K. Burke. Interment was in Sperryville Cemetery .
Pallbearers were Ricky Pullen, Richard Dwyer, Jr., Tony Jenkins. Troy Jenkins, Jr., David Randall Jenkins and Roger Cooke.

Found and Sons Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
