Basketball Teai By SHARON KILPATRICK Rappahannock News Staff Writer Panther boys’ basketball teams dominated Manassas Park Tuesday night to rack up their second wins versus one loss for the season. In the varsity team the Panther squad prevailed 77 to 49. The team never trailed in the game, and carried a 49 to 22 lead into halftime. Jon Butler led the scoring with 22 points. Jeff Atkins added 15. Willie Eastham had 13 points and 13 rebounds, while Jason Carter had 11 of each. “It was a great game,” Coach Eugene Baltimore said. “We jumped on them from the beginning.” The JV squad was even more dominating, gathering a 65 to 13 victory. “We overmatch Manassas Park,” Coach Luther Stanley said. “The boys went out and hustled. They played a good ball game.”
