The Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company held their annual elections at the firehouse on Wednesday, Dec. 6. Administrative officers serving in 1996 are Jack Atkins, President; Art Candenquist, Vice-President; Sheila Smith, Secretary; Sandi Carter, Treasurer. Bobby Carter was re-elected to another term on the Board of Directors.

Operational officers for 1996 are J.B. Carter, Jr., Fire Chief; Scott Chamberlin, Assistant Chief; Wayne Dodson, Captain; A1 Kellert, Lieutenant; Sharon Scott, EMS Assistant Chief; Sheila Scott, EMS Captain and John L. Pearre, EMS Lieutenant.

The Amissville volunteers sincerely thank the community for their support of the fire and rescue company in 1995. They solicit your continued support in their efforts to provide first-class fire/rescue protection and emergency medical care in the coming year.
