Bryn Mawr College
Welby Lynn, daughter of Pamela W. Lynn of Washington and the late William E. Lynn, Jr., entered the freshman class at Bry n Mawr College this fall.
Miss Lynn graduated from Wakefield Country Day School, class of 1995.
Founded in 1885, Bryn Mawr was the first college in the nation to offer graduate programs to women and is today the only women’s college with extensive graduated programs.
Bryn Mawr offers more than forty programs in the liberal arts and sciences to its 1,122 undergraduate women, and seventeen doctoral and master’s programs to more than 500 students in its two coeducational graduate schools.
Consistently rated as one of the best liberal arts schools in the country, Bryn Mawr enriches its program with consortial programs with Haverford and Swarthmore Colleges and the University of Pennsylvania.
