Several Rappahannock County students who attend Wakefield Country Day School in Flint Hill have won awards this fall.
At the school’s Science Fair John Kushner won first place in General Science for his project On Temperature Effects, and Nikke Rustic won second place in Life Science for his project, Mantid Fluid Transport. In the lower school Alex Purnell won an award for his project on “The Effects of Fertilizer on Worms.”
The school sent a delegation to the Junior Classical League Virginia State Convention in Norfolk. Nick Konick was elected state parliamentarian for the 1995-96 year. He also received a ribbon and certificate for Photography and Mythology Level 4. Andrew Inglis received a certificate for his scrapbook. Jacob Konick received two certificates.
