Force Reserve. Prior to World War II, he was a practicing lawyer. He is survived by his wife, Thelda Mae Hawkins Kestenbaum; a daughter, Thelda Kestenbaum, M.D., of Knasas City; two brothers, Arthur Kestenbaum of Worcester, Mass., and Irving Kestenbaum of Scarsdale, N.Y. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were private. Geest Funeral Home, of Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
