Thursday night Rapp's J.V. and Varsity Volleyball teams lost to Manassas Park. However, both coaches agreed that the lack of practice due to snow contributed to their losses.
During Varsity’s first game Manassas Park got a quick 1-0 lead. This was followed up by several changes in ball possession during which they made another point.
Sarah Gentry then made a point •for Rapp after which Manassas Park recovered the ball.
A few minutes later Manassas Park controlled the game 14-1. Angela Atkins served up three points for her team, including one ace. She was followed by Sarah who hit another ace for the team and Nancie Gallegos who made an additional point.
By then Rapp had began to catch up. With the score 14-6, Manassas Park called a time out.
Nancie made another point but •Manassas still won 15-7.
