During the J.V. game Summer Alexander helped to tie the game early on when each team had only one point a piece. The score was again tied at 33 however Rapp soon fell behind as their opponents took over, 9-3.
Lauren Sharp put in an ace and one other point for her team. Robyn Kaye and Janice Wilson also served to help tie the score at 10-10.
The team made an additional three points ending the game 15-13 in Manasas’s favor.
During the second game Manassas Prak took a 11-1 lead. Meghan Fairbrother made three points before a time out was called.
After that the team continued to score, but lost 15-6.
Coach Heidi Maeyer admitted that "once her team was down it was hard for them to get back up." However, she also said. “The next game will be,different.”
Both teams intend to practice over the holidays and Varsity will attend an all one-day tournament in Madison on December 27.
