For violating probation the second time since he was sentenced to six years in 1990, Judge Penn sent Eugene Robert Pendleton, 32, to jail to serve out his sentence. His attorney, Roy Bradley, said that Mr. Pendleton has had trouble getting a job and wanted the court to extend the payment date.
