William, are visiting this week. They are both from Tazewell. They go to Richmond Tuesday to be with their brother, William Duncan. He is set to undergo brain surgery today, March 13. Our prayers are with this family as well.
Mrs. Pauline Latham underwent heart valve replacement on Feb. 21.
Last Tuesday, March 5 upon arriving at the Richlands Tabernacle for the funeral of my Uncle Albert, we were told it had been delayed because my uncles’ home had burned that morning and two of the daughters were taken to the hospital. It was so shocking and sad.
Many times our grief turns into bitterness and anger. It is difficult to understand why bad things happen to good people. We must stand on the promise in Romans 8:28 about all things work together for those that love God.
