Leonard Eppard Jr.

Leonard (Deno) M. Eppard Jr., 31, of Fron^ Royal, died on Sunday, March 3.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 7 at the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal with the Rev. Jon C. Heddleston officiating.

Burial followed in Panarama Memorial Gardens.

He was bom August 11, 1964, in Rockingham County, son of Wilma H. Burke of Flint Hill.

He attended Warren County High School and was a carpenter.

Surviving with his mother are his wife, Linda A. Eppard of Front Royal; his step-father, James E. Burke Sr. of Flint Hill and a daughter, April A. Eppard of Front Royal.

He is also survived by a brother, Leon (Johnny) R. Eppard of Front Royal; a step-brother, James (Eddie) E. Burke Jr. pf Front Royal; four sisters, Debra E. Hodge of McGaheysville, Beverly J. Samuels of Shenandoah, Shelby A. Eppard of Broadway, and Teresa D. Eppard of Front Royal; and a step-sister, Juanita G. Foster of Front Royal:

Pallbearers were Leon (Johnny) R. Eppard, Jack A. Sanders, Jerry Breeden, Kevin W. Samuels, Shejby A. Eppard, and Teresa D. Eppard.

Honorary pallbearers were Donald L. Hodge and Trenton E. Hodge.

Armistead Carmack of Washington, formerly of Moore Head City, N.C. died on Tuesday, March 5,

Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 9 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Washington with Father Albert Verbeke officiating.

Interment was atN Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas.

Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.

Mary Woodward

Mary Edna S. Woodward, 71, of Front Royal died Saturday, March 9, in Winchester Medical Center.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 12, at the Front Royal Church of the Brethren with Rev. Bobby Whetzel officiating.

Interment followed at Panorama Memorial Gardens.
