Samuel Berry, 41, of Culpeper, pleaded guilty to petit larceny, an amended charge from grand larceny. He is due to be sentenced on May 13, and will owe $218.56 restitution to Hillsdale Grocery.
Kevin Eugene Locklear, 19, of Sperryville, remains banned from Rappahannock County after having been convicted in General District Court of assault and battery. He was on the do'cket in Circuit Court to appeal the decision in district court, but dropped the appeal. Mr. Luke explained that Mr. Locklear must stay out of Rappahannock County for one year to avoid serving the sentence he received in General District Court.
The Grand Jury handed down indictments to six people last Monday.
