Youth wrestling coach Paul Paratore took 12 boys from the youth wrestling program to a large meet in Louisa Sunday, March 3, and came away with seven trophies: three first place, three second place and one third place.
There were over 150 boys there from at least seven wrestling programs. “My expectation wds just to be respectable,” Coach Paratore said, obviously very pleased with the results. “Even the ones who didn’t place were very close in points to the top three.
Jesse Smith, Philip Thomas and Chad Heddleston got the first place trophies.
Matt Wolfe, Jesse Grigsby and James Lofton won second place trophies, and Michael Cannon got third place.
