Mrs. Woodward was bom Oct. 6, 1924, in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Albert Jackson, Sr. and Carrie Fincham Sisk.
She was a graduate of Sperryville High School.
She was a very active member of the Front Royal Church of the Brethren, having served as a Sunday school teacher, deacon, financial secretary and a member of the Administrative and Pastorial Boards.
She was a member of AARP and a volunteer for Leslie Fox Keyser Elementary School.
She was retired from Warren Memorial Hospital.
She was married to the late Clifford Jackson Woodward.
Surviving are two daughters, Carol Ann Eggers and Nancy Woodward Thompson both of Front Royal and her stepmother, Bessie Sisk.
She is also survived by four brothers, Albert Jackson Sisk, Jr. of Boston, Charles A. Sisk, James Russell Sisk and William E. Sisk, all of Sperryville; two fsisters, Esther Jenkins of Culpeper and Dorothy Pullen of Sperryville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Michael Nicewamer, Tim Rinker, Ken Dillon, Guy Clatterbuck, Jr., Larry Sisk, Charles “Chuckie” Sisk, Thomas “Rusty” Sisk and Albert Jackson Sisk, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers were Hal Sharp, Tom Nicewarner, Jr., Oscar Bowman, Guy Clatterbuck, Sr., Dr. F.A. Irani and Basil Hudson.

Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal was in charge of the arrangements.
Fannie Ficklin
Fannie B. Ficklin of New Carrollton, Md. died on Monday, March 11. She was the wife of Dorsey W. Ficklin.
Mrs. Ficklin was a Settle and a native of Rappahannock County. She was bom June 3, 1909.
She is survived by her children William D. and Carroll M. Ficklin; three grandchildren and one great grand-daughter.
