Shooting Matches Planned Spring Shooting Matches will be held on Saturday, March 16 thru April 27 at the Castleton Community Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company. The first round starts at 1 p.m., 12 gauge only, no sleeves or scopes. All guns will be checked. . Prizes will include various meats and money. Coffee and soft drinks will be available. Home-Based Business Conference “Marketing Arts & Crafts” will be the theme of a home-based business conference on March 29, in Fredericksburg. This is sponsored by Virginia Cooperative Extension in Stafford County. The workshop, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., will include craft persons and educators sharing knowledge and expertise, trends for color and crafts, tapping the tourist market, a packet of resource materials, and evaluating your product. Booster's Club To Meet The Rappahannock Athletic Booster Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 18 in the library at the Rappahannock County High School.

RAAC-ON-TOUR RAAC (Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community) will sponsor a day trip to Washington, D.C. on Saturday, March 23. Cars will leave the Trinity church parking lot at 9 a.m. Participants will be taken to their museum (or theatre or shop) of choice in the morning and will meet at a central location in the afternoon for the trip home.
