“Some things are irreplaceable. Like Sam Aylor’s umpire equipment, which he’d had for years,” he said. “I hope they catch whoever did it. But that still won’t replace what we had.”
Rappahannock Sheriff Gary Settle said his office has three potential suspects who are all being interviewed. He said he feels certain they can solve the case and they want to do it expeditiously.
“We’ve been working round the clock on this case and I think we’re going to be able to solve it quickly. There have been other incidents of property damage there and we’re tying in everything we know and linking suspects,” he said.
