Rappahannock’s Minor League baseball team won their season opening Fauquier Fall Baseball League games. They cruised to a seven run lead in the second and went on to a 14-7 behind solid pitching performances from Jason Jenkins, Alexander Sharp, and Will Miller. Jason Jenkins started the game and struck out five batters while giving up one hit over three innings. Alexander Sharp struck out six batter in 2 innings of no hit relief. Will Miller pitched the final inning to close the door on Warrenton’s team No.l.

Justin Gheen and Alex Sharp lead the offensive attack for Rappahannock scoring three runs each. Ben Hackney and Will Miller each scored twice. Jacob Dodson, Ben Hahn, Jason Jenkins, and Nick Raiford all scored once for Rappahannock.

The Rappahannock team roster is: Timmie Clanagan, Jacob Dodson, Justin Gheen, Ben Hackney, Ben Hahn, James Henze, Jason Jenkins, Will Miller, Nick Raiford, Alexander Sharp, and Karl Thornhill.
