The first annual Rappahannock RoughRide, a charity bicycle tour, is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington, Va..
Each cyclist may choose one of three routes, a 10 or 32mile tour over paved roads or a 25-mile “RoughRide”, a tour over paved and unpaved roads.
The entry fee for the Rappahannock RoughRide is $18 if received by Sept. 10 and $20 thereafter.
Registration is being held on the morning of the ride at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington starting at 8:30 a.m.
Registration forms are located at various area businesses.
Each rider will receive a Tshirt, a water bottle and a chance to win a dinner for two at The Inn at Little Washington, world famous for its food and service.
Rest stops will be located at the Laurel Mills store and the Episcopal Church.
