Mrs. Linnie Cummings was honored at a birthday party on Saturday at The Public House in Flint Hill to celebrate her 90th birthday.
A number of guests were present from Spokane, Washington; Georgia, North Carolina and the Tidewater area and many Flint Hill and Washington friends.
The event was enjoyed by all.
Mrs. Cummings celebrated her 90th on Sunday at a luncheon with her church friends following the worship service in the fellowship hall of the Washington Baptist Church.

Mrs. Franklin Hawkins of Fredericksburg was a Wednesday visitor of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Lillard.
Rev. and Mrs. Jim Grimmer of Gloucester, Va. will be at homecoming services at the Willis Chapel United Methodist Church on Sunday, Sept. 14.
Steve Lillard and Jerry of Middleburg were Sunday visitors in the Bunny Hudson home.
