The survey instrument is designed to be easy to answer and property owners may take as long as they need, though interviewing and other field work is expected to take no more than two to three days. After analyzing and evaluating the data, members of the survey team can often develop recommendations for easing or eliminating the problems.

The county Health Department has committed enough resources and personnel to the survey so that it can be conducted quickly and efficiently. And because the county, state, and federal governments each contribute a portion of the cost of the survey, there will be no cost at all to the town.

As planning for the survey proceeds, additional information will become available. Interested citizens may contact Allison Lowry, Health Department, 675-3516, or Kaye Kohler at the town hall on 675-3128.
