House tour planned

The annual Rappahannock House Tour sponsored by Trinity Episcopal Church will be held Oct. 18 and 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 1 p.m. to 5p.m. on Sunday. Old Hollow reunion set

The annual Old Hollow reunion will be held on Sunday, Sept. 14 at the Thornton Gap Regular Baptist Church in Old Hollow. Lunch will be served. “Bring a covered dish and join in on the fun,” said a spokesperson. For more information call 987-8336.

Booster meeting set

The Rappahannock Band Booster meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock High School library. Everyone is welcome.

Karate classes underway

Shorin-Ryu Okinawan Karate classes are currently underway at Ki Theatre in Washington. Junior classes will be held 4 to 5:30 p.m. with adult classes from 5:30 to 7 p.m. each Wednesday. Dodson reunion planned

The reunion for the late Ernest Dodson and Neva Nicholson Dodson will be held on Sunday, Sept. 21 at the Rappahannock Park located on U.S. 211 near Washington. All relatives and friends are invited.

Grand opening scheduled

Artist’s Row in Washington will have a grand opening the weekend of Sept. 26, 27 and 28. A reception will be held on Friday evening and open house on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Artist Row is comprised of Chris Goodine; Tanya Richey of Windflower Gallery; Peter Garon of Morency Gallery; Charles Tompkins; and Jennifer Green of Odyssey Collection. All shops are located on Main Street in the town of Washington.

Hike scheduled

On Sept. 13 the second Saturday series of hikes with Ragged Mountain Resource Center to Headwaters of Rappahannock River Watershed. Meet at Mountainside Market from 9 to 9:30 a.m. and return by mid-afternoon. Contact Ragged Mountain Resource Center at 987-3366 for more information.

Classmates to reunite

The class of 1987 will have their reunion on Saturday, Sept. 13 at the Holiday Inn in Culpeper from 6 p.m. until. There will be a DJ and also dinner. Fee is $25 per person ill advance or $35 at the door.

Safety course set
