Environmental consultant Larry Silverman and representatives from the Amissville citizens group have reviewed the preliminary design report sent to Richmond last week by Joyce Engineering and they find it wanting. Government safety experts are cautioning homeowners to have home central heating systems inspected this fall, even though the heat has already been turned on. Ronald n. Wrye, who began his National Park Service career in the Washington metropolitan area 26 years ago, is returning there as deputy regional director, following a one-year assignment as superintendent of Shenandoah National Park. Gwendolyn Ann Jordan is working toward her state degree of achievement award in the Future Homemakfers of America/Home Economics Related Occupations (FHA/HERO) Chapter at Piedmont Technical Education Center in Culpeper.
