This one-day workshop will provide a general overview of the erosion and sediment control program in Virginia during the morning session and' two concurrent sessions will be offered in the afternoon.
One session will be targeted toward the contractors. The afternoon session will be targeted toward the plan preparers and engineers.
The speakers for the day will be drawn from local surveying firms, the local Soil and Water Conservation Districts, and the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation.
The workshop will be held on Nov. 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Virginia Department of Forestry and Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy Building in Charlottesville.
