three months of chemotherapy. Even though she had the benefit of fully integrated medical help at that time she said she felt more was needed. She turned to homeopathy, acupuncture, herbal medicine, body work, nutritional therapy and found it helped her to deal with the effects of the chemotherapy without using additional medication.
After the course of the chemo was over her oncologist told her the chemo had not worked and “no matter what you do, you are going to die from this.”
“There is nothing like coming face to face with your own demise to enable change and cause you to better understand yourself,” she said.
She had periods of feeling better and better and then periods of feeling terrible. She discovered, she said, that feelings of fear were causing the pain and sickness to return. So she worked to control her fear and thereby banish her pain.
“I will not live in fear,” she said.
Nicholson has studied massage therapy and cranial sacral "therapy as well as laying on of hands, herbal healing and nonordinary states of consciousness through breath.
As a result of her life experiences and study, Nicholson has found the path to self-healing and now desires to help others find that same ability.
She currently has a program of hands on medicine for children, a 20 minute touch therapy session, which is by appointment on the first liiesday of the month.
