Members of the Washington town council’s Wastewater Commfttee voted unanimously last Friday night to support construction of a $1.48 million sewer treatment system to replace failing drainfields in the center of town. Despite the disappointing turnout for the special briefing by Resource International, Ltd., an adamant committee chairman Charlie Tompkins assured the group that “before I’m finished, you’re going to have what you need to know, whether or not you want to read it.”
