The Flint Hill annual fireman’s carnival will be held July 22-25. The firemen and auxiliary are busy making plans. They are seeking queen contestants to sell tickets on the 1998 Ford Ranger pick-up to be given away on Saturday evening. Anyone interested in running for queen may call Doug McCabe at 675-3143.
Wednesday from 7 p.m. to closing is family night. There will be a special price of $8 and ride all night the rest of the week for $10 each night.
The grand parade featuring Miss Virginia, who is newly crowned queen will make her first appearance when the parade begins at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
