Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Dodson and son hosted a cookout and picnic at their home Sunday afternoon honoring Mrs. Dodson’s mother Mrs. Louise Richards who celebrated her 72nd birthday on Thursday. Family and church members enjoyed the picnic.
Congratulations to Miss Elizabeth Boyd, a senior nursing major at Lynchburg College who recently presented her poster “The Effects Music Has on Anxiety in the Surgical Patient”. This poster was shown at the Lynchburg College Student Scholar Showcase. Miss Boyd is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Boyd here in Boston.
